LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Indiana company has recalled thousands of camping trailers over a problem that could spark fires.

Keystone RV of Goshen, Indiana, is recalling nearly 52,000 Bullet and Passport trailers. The air conditioning thermostats weren't wired correctly. The company says damage to the wiring could cause an electrical short and a fire.

The problem affects trailers from the 2011 to 2017 model years.

The company will contact owners and fix the problem for free.
