Ky. Congressional candidate calling for Bevin's impeachment after bloodshed comments

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A candidate for Congress is calling for Kentucky's governor to be impeached over comments he made at a weekend political event.

Gov. Matt Bevin said there would be a heavy price to pay if Hillary Clinton is elected president. He made the comments on Saturday at the Values Voters Summit in Washington, D.C.

Rev. Nancy Jo Kemper, a candidate for Congress, is calling for Bevin to be impeached.

"I believe that his call to shed the blood of fellow Americans is unconstitutional and a violation of his sworn oath to uphold the laws of the Commonwealth."

Gov. Bevin says he was referring to the threat of Islamic terrorists, and says Democrats are taking his comments out of context.
