Two charged after murder victim found in burning car near Lexington

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people have been arrested after a body found in a burning car near Lexington.

Firefighters found 24-year-old Joseph Trevor Dilger's body in a burning car in Fayette County on Sept. 4. Police arrested 21-year-old Jeremy Harris and 32-year-old Christie Hanley in connection with Dilger's death on Wednesday. 

Harris is charged with murder, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse. Hanley is charged with tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.

They're both being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
