LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Shepherdsville City Council members have come together to approve a property tax rate.

The council held two special meetings Thursday and Friday.

The City Clerk says the property tax was lowered from 14 cents per $100 of assessed value to 13.9 cents -- and council members kept the personal property tax rate at 13.6 cents.
