Jury acquits suspect in Shepherdsville hotel murder
A man accused of killing another man last July has been acquitted.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man accused of killing another man last July has been acquitted.
Kevin Ward was accused of killing Travis Steiger. His body was found in the parking lot of a Super 8 Hotel in Shepherdsville on July 10 of 2015. Police say someone called 911 from the hotel after hearing gunshots.
When officers arrived, they found Steiger's body.
Ward was arrested several days later, but a jury found him not guilty this week.
