Supporters attend Louisville Pride Festival, despite rain

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Downpours didn't stop some from coming out to attend the Louisville Pride Festival.
Taylor Dayne took the stage Saturday night at the LGBT festival. Held on Bardstown Road in the Highlands, the event brought music, food and crafts. Supporters called it a celebration of Louisville coming together as one.
"It's a lot of places that you can stop in and visit, sit down and have a good meal, and also support our community," said Richard Bristol, an attendee.
"It's a bit smaller than some of the super big-city ones, but that's to be expected because it's a smaller area," said Tahlia Zaring, another attendee. "But it seems cool so far. The atmosphere is fun."
This was the second year for the Louisville Pride Festival in the Highlands.
