LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a teen on a robbery charge.

Demon Graves, 18, was arrested Sunday in the 2300 block of Hale Avenue, near South 25th Street.

According to police, Graves and a co-defendant allegedly took several items from a female victim. Officials say Graves stole the victim's 2016 Mercedes Benz 250, purse, wallet, phone and briefcase. Police say the car has a value of $50,000. Authorities say the alleged robbery happened on Sept. 7.

Authorities say the victim contacted police and reported that two men approached her vehicle.

Investigators say the vehicle was recovered in the 2200 block of West Oak Street, near South 22nd Street, where it has been abandoned by Graves and the co-defendant.

Police say a witness saw Graves and the co-defendant exit the vehicle and run away from the area.

Authorities say the co-defendant was arrested and taken into custody. Officials say the co-defendant identified Graves in a taped statement.

Officials also say the victim's phone and keys have not been recovered.

Graves is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections. He is expected in court on Monday.
