Bardstown Police say man has life-threatening injuries after being hit by vehicle

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WDRB) -- Bardstown Police say a man has suffered life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a vehicle.

According to a release, the incident happened Monday. Just before 1:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Camptown Road and Redmon Court in reference to a domestic situation. 

Officials say that as officers were in route, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. When officers arrived, they found the victim under a vehicle.

Crews with the Bardstown Fire Department, Nelson County E.M.S. and Bardstown Police were among the responders. The victim was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital and then airlifted to U of L Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The incident remains under investigation.
