MADISON, In. (WDRB) -- A caller threatened to blow up and shoot out a Madison, Indiana McDonald's restaurant.

Police say the teen who was arrested did it as a joke.

A manager took a call on Tuesday asking if it was the McDonald's located near Madison High School.

When he said yes, the caller said he was going to blow the place up and shoot people at the restaurant.

Managers immediately evacuated the building and called police, but officers found nothing.

Authorities traced the call to a 17-year-old, who is now charged with intimidation.
