In addition to breakfast and lunch, SuperChefs on Bardstown Road is serving dinner starting on Friday.

You can find plates like the southern egg roll filled with mac and cheese, house made greens and fried chicken dipped in a sweet potato sauce.

Chef and owner Darnell Ferguson says all the dishes are inspired by food he grew up eating.

“Every single thing is something I grew up on, but I just flipped it around and took all my experiences and all my creativity and tried to blow it off the map,” Ferguson said.

He says the décor of the restaurant will have a different theme during dinner time. Dinner is completely separate from breakfast and lunch.

“Dinner is our new identity. It’s totally separate from SuperChefs. It has nothing in contact with it, except that we use the same building,” Ferguson said.

Dinner is served from 5-11 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. Happy hour is 5-6:30  p.m., every day except for Saturday.

The soft openings for dinner at SuperChefs are on Wednesday and Thursday.
