LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kroger has opened its first Marketplace store in metro Louisville.

It's on Dixie Highway, near the intersection of Upper Hunters Trace. The 125,000 square-foot store offers an expanded produce selection, a Starbucks, clothing, kitchen items, a toy department and fresh sushi.

The new store created 184 new jobs.

NASCAR driver Ben Rhodes was there for the ribbon cutting.

Store hours are 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. seven days a week.
