Family of teen murdered in Shelby Park offers reward for information leading to an arrest

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The mother of a teenager gunned down last month in Shelby Park hopes a reward will lead to an arrest in her son's murder.

Family and friends of Cameron Pugh passed out flyers and put up signs Saturday.

"I don't see how somebody can kill two people in daylight and nobody sees anything. That's the most troubling part," Pugh's mother Angela Williams, said.

They're letting people know that a $2,500 reward is now being offered.

Police say the 18-year-old was shot and killed in mid-August, while walking near Kentucky and Hancock.

22-year-old Larry Brewer was killed as well.

With no one charged, Pugh's loved ones are begging for closure.

"We just need help. I mean you can remain anonymous. You can just call in. But we need help. For my family's sake, for his daughter's sake. We just want justice. For Larry's sake, we just want help," Williams said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Louisville Metro Police tipline at 574-LMPD, where you can remain anonymous.
