14th annual WDRB Thunder into Louisville Patriot Ride raises funds for local Boy Scouts
Hundreds of motorcycles hit the road for a great cause.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Hundreds of motorcycles hit the road for a great cause.
WDRB General Manager Bill Lamb and our very own traffic guru Mike Marshall were among the riders.
The 14th annual WDRB Thunder into Louisville 'Patriot Ride' kicked off Saturday morning.
Proceeds from the ride support the local Boy Scouts.
It seems there were some new faces, and even some familiar ones.
"We're raising money but it's not work. We're raising money and we're having fun doing it. And we're meeting a whole bunch of new people. And these are our viewers. These are, these people are all people who watch our station, so it's great to get out and shake some hands, meet them, and take some pictures," Lamb said.
About 350 riders participated to raise nearly $15,000.
Cash prizes of $100, $250, and $1,000 were rewarded.
The first, second, and third place winners will be posted right here on wdrb.com Monday morning.
