Chautauqua Festival of Art draws thousands to historic Indiana neighborhood
The festival features fine arts and crafts from artists across the nation.
MADISON, Ind. (WDRB) -- A popular two-day art show in Madison, Indiana is underway this weekend.
The Chautauqua Festival of Art features fine arts and crafts from artists across the nation.
It draws about 60,000 people to the small Indiana city every year.
"This is a tradition for us. We all get together in the morning, come down together, and shop til we drop," said Madison resident Edna Curl.
The festival takes place in the historic neighborhood between Broadway and Vine Streets.
Food and entertainment is also set up along the Ohio River.
If you missed the festival Saturday, it's happening again on Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
