Death investigations underway after two men die at Beech Bend Park
A death investigation is underway after Warren County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive subject near the race track at Beech Bend Park in Warren County.
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WDRB) -- A death investigation began after Warren County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive subject near the race track at Beech Bend Park in Warren County. The call came in around 3:20 a.m. Sunday morning.
Officials say deputies located a 31-year-old man who was unconscious. The park's Medical Center EMS responded to the scene and confirmed the man was deceased.
The Warren County Coroner's Office was notified and responded to investigate.
According to a release by the Warren County Sheriff's Office in Bowling Green, alcohol is believed to be a factor in the death.
The name of the victim has not yet been released and the investigation is ongoing.
According to an additional release by the Warren County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded at 11:34 Sunday morning to the race track on an additional unresponsive subject.
Upon arrival deputies found 67-year-old Robert Howard unconscious. The Coroner's office was notified and determined that Howard was deceased.
No foul play is suspected in either case and both investigations continue.
