LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police are trying to locate a convicted sex offender.

According to a news release, 52-year-old Paul Mitchell Wallace is wanted for failing to comply with the terms of the Sex Offender Registry.

The registry describes him as a black male, 5'-8" tall, weighing 195 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. According to the registry, Wallace was originally convicted for engaging in an unlawful transaction with a minor. The victim in that case was 16 years old.

The terms of the registry dictate that Wallace must notify authorities of any change in address. Police say his last known address was on Napa Valley Court in Louisville, Kentucky.

According to the news release, Wallace's current whereabouts are not known, but he may be in the company of 43-year-old Martha Crawford, a resident of Louisville.

If you have any information on Wallace's location, you are asked to contact Trooper Whitworth at the Kentucky State Police, Post 12, at (502) 227-2221.
