CANCELED: Indiana State Police cancel Amber Alert for missing 7-year-old

UPDATE: According to Indiana State Police, the Amber Alert for 7-year-old Isabella Negri has been canceled. Indiana news media are reporting that the child has been found safe.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Amber Alert has been issued for a 7-year-old girl missing from Greenwood, Indiana.

Officers with the Center Grove School Police Department are investigating the abduction of Isabella Negri. Police say the child is believed to be in extreme danger.

Negri was last seen at around 10 a.m. in Greenwood, which is 14 miles south of Indianapolis.

Authorities believe the child was taken by her non-custodial mother, 27-year-old Morgan Negri.

Isabella Negri is described as a white female, 3 feet 10 inches tall, with red shoulder length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, jean shorts, sandals and a purple backpack. 

Police say Morgan Negri is a white female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 115 pounds and has long red hair.

Morgan Negri's car is a gray 2007 Kia Sorento with Indiana plate number IU4320. 

Anyone with information on the pair's location is asked to contact the Center Grove School Police Department at 317-346-6336.
