LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in Indiana say a mom accused of killing her two young children is connected to a third murder.

An Amber Alert was issued Monday for Rene Pasztor, 6, and Liliana Hernandez, 7. Police say the two were found dead in the back of  29-year-old Amber Pasztor's car.

Investigators believe Pasztor killed her two children. Late Tuesday afternoon, they confirmed the two died of asphyxiation.

"I can tell you from personal experience some of the worst things that I've ever seen in my life, that I can still close my eyes and see, is the death of any child," said Allen County, Ind., Prosecutor Karen Richards.

"It's horrible, and I think it takes a toll on law enforcement and takes a toll on the community and takes a toll on our offices as well."

Police say Pasztor is also a suspect in the death of 65-year-old Frank Macomber, who had some sort of relationship with the mother of two. Macomber was found shot to death near Fort Wayne.

Police believe he was killed before Pasztor's two children.
