Two Detroit men accused of using forged documents in attempt to bilk title company

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested two men from Detroit after they allegedly tried to steal nearly $100,000 from a Louisville title company.

According to the arrest report, it happened on Sept. 27. That's when police say 23-year-old Davion Walker and 60-year-old Kenneth Foster traveled from Detroit, "entered Kemp Title Co. and presented the title agency with a fraudulent forged deed to a home in Jefferson County."

Police say the two also presented a fraudulent check in an attempt to steal $96,258.41 from the title company. 

Both men were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and attempted theft by unlawful taking of $10,000 or more.
