LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested a Louisville man authorities say assaulted and held a female victim hostage.

Euqenio Deleon, 28, was arrested on Tuesday at his home in the 3400 block of Richmont Road, near Cane Run Road.

The arrest report says Deleon became involved in an argument with the victim over money.

Police say Deleon "tased the victim multiple times, choked her and bit her on the hand and arm."

Officials say Deleon also held the victim hostage in a room and would not allow her to leave.

Deleon is charged with assault and wanton endangerment. He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections.
