LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) -- The woman who died after a crash on the Gene Snyder Freeway Sunday night has been identified.

According to deputy coroner Jo-Ann Farmer, 28-year-old Jessica Smith was pronounced dead at the scene after the pickup truck she was driving crashed on the ramp from I-265 North to I-64 East.

Investigators believe Smith lost control of the pickup truck, rolled over and struck the guardrail. Smith and her passenger, who has not yet been identified, were both thrown from the vehicle. They were not wearing seat belts.
