LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville man robbed a Dollar General store -- but store employees were not about to let him get away with it.

Craig Dunn, 59, was arrested Saturday. The police report says the incident happened on Pirtle Street.

Police say that as Dunn was stealing from the store, he was stopped by store employees. Authorities say the employees closed the store's entrance to stop Dunn from leaving.

Investigators say after Dunn was stopped, "he became belligerent, threatening the use of violence." Police say he threatened to kill people and kept reaching for a large pocket knife in the small of his back.

Authorities say the store manager created a distraction and was able to remove the knife.

Police say another witness tackled Dunn and held him down until police arrived.

Dunn is charged with robbery and is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $25,000 cash bond. He is expected in court on Monday.
