La Grange Police searching for suspect wanted on drug and weapons charges
Police say the suspect has a "Seventh Sons" tattoo on his right arm, which represents a motorcycle gang.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in La Grange are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with drug and weapons charges.
Officials say 43-year-old Michael A. Mudd is facing several charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a defaced firearm and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
Police say Mudd is a white male. He is 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 240 pounds. Police say Mudd has a "Seventh Sons" tattoo on his right arm, which represents a motorcycle gang.
Investigators say he has ties to Louisville and Winchester, Kentucky. Police say he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Seventh Sons spokesman Kevin Boggs tells WDRB News that Mudd is “no longer affiliated” with the group, which Boggs describes as a “club” instead of the “gang” term the police department used in its wanted notice. Boggs says the group asked Mudd to leave several years ago.
Anyone with information regarding Mudd's whereabouts is asked to call La Grange Police at 502-225-0444, the La Grange Police anonymous tip line at 502-873-8945 or 911.
