Louisville man accused of sending child pornography to undercover investigators
Police say the files they received led them to take out a search warrant on the suspect's home...
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has been arrested on charges related to child pornography.
According to an arrest report, the Kentucky State Police's Electronic Crimes Branch was conducting an online investigation, when 45-year-old Brian Trees unwittingly sent 10 computer files containing child pornography to undercover investigators.
Police then executed a search warrant at Trees' home in the 8300 block of Rosebowl Court, near the intersection of Beulah Church Road and Delightful Way. According to the arrest report, police found over 20 files containing child pornography while searching Trees' electronic devices.
He was arrested Thursday evening and charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, and 10 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
He is currently being held at Louisville Metro Corrections.
