LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Tennessee officials say a young Florida girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert has been found.

Officials had been searching for 4-year-old Rebecca Ann Lewis out of Lakeland, Florida.

According to a Twitter post from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Lewis has been recovered by police in Memphis and is safe.

The suspect in her disappearance, 31-year-old West Wild Hogs, is in custody. That's his legal name.

It's unclear why Hogs kidnapped the child.

Investigators say Hogs is a family friend and took the girl from her home on Saturday in Florida.

They were spotted on surveillance cameras at a Nashville area convenience store Monday morning.

On Sunday night, they were seen at Cove Lake State Park off I-75 near the Kentucky-Tennessee line.

On Monday around 11 a.m., a driver called 911 in Whitley County, Kentucky, thinking he spotted their car.

The two were also seen on surveillance video at a McDonald's near the child's home in Florida on Saturday, then later they were captured on surveillance video at a gas station in Georgia.
