Clarksville Police investigating Monday morning bank robbery

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Clarksville Police are investigating after a bank was robbed on Monday morning.

According to a news release, it happened just before 9:30 a.m. at the PNC Bank on Eastern Boulevard.

Officials say a man entered the bank and went to a teller and demanded money.

Police say after the man was given an undetermined amount of money, he exited the bank and fled.

Investigators describe the suspect as an African-American male. He's about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs between 140 and 160 pounds. Officials say he had a mustache and was unshaven.

Police say the man did not display a weapon.

Authorities say the suspect fits the description of other robberies that have happened in Clark County. Police are working to figure out if there are any connections.
