LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities have identified a woman who died in a crash in Floyds Knobs Saturday afternoon.

According to the Floyd County Coroner's Office, that woman has been identified as 32-year-old Wendy Lonowski of Louisville.

The crash happened in the 6500 block of Scottsville Road in Floyds Knobs just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The Lafayette Township Fire Protection District was dispatched to the scene where they found one vehicle flipped over in a creek. Initial reports indicated that a victim was trapped under the vehicle, but when authorities arrived on the scene, all of the victims were outside of the car.

Three victims were involved in the crash -- Lonowski and two children. The children were transported to Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville. Lonowski was transported to Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany where she was pronounced deceased.

According to the Floyd County Coroner's Office, her blood-alcohol level was at .25, which is three times the legal limit.

As for the conditions of the children, the coroner's office cites the father of the children, who says they only suffered minor injuries.
