LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested a Louisville woman authorities say was passed out in a vehicle with spice and a small child inside.
Shaterriah Grant, 25, was arrested Monday at Shorty's Food Mart, located at 1711 West Broadway.
The arrest report states that police officers were sent to the location on a call that two adults were passed out in a vehicle, while an infant was in the back seat.
Officials say when police arrived, officers saw two people passed out in the front seat of the vehicle. Police say the infant was in a car seat in the back with a window down.
Authorities say it took an officer five minutes to wake up the driver.
Investigators say an officer asked the driver to get out of the vehicle, and the driver handed over a baggie of drugs that Grant stated was spice.
Police say an officer observed that Grant had slurred speech and a difficult time answering questions.
Grant is charged with wanton endangerment, endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of synthetic drugs.
She is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections and is expected in court on Tuesday.
