LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Sixteen million dollars in renovations are headed for Churchill Downs.

The home of the Kentucky Derby says the money will be used to upgrade the second floor of its track clubhouse.

The improvements will include more food and beverage options, more restrooms, additional betting windows and flat screen televisions.

It will give more options for VIP guests. The project will start right after the fall meet ends in late November and will end in April, in time for the spring meet.
