Louisville man facing dozens of charges related to child pornography

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is facing dozens of felony charges after authorities say child pornography was found on his electronic devices.

According to an arrest report, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crimes Branch was conducting an undercover investigation when 37-year-old Mohammad Ronaghi sent undercover investigators over 100 files containing child pornography. 

As a result, police executed a search warrant at Ronaghi's home on Collington Drive, just north of the intersection of Ballardsville Road and Worthington Place Drive, Wednesday night.

Police say they searched Ronaghi's electronic devices and found over 20 examples of child pornography.

Investigators interviewed Ronaghi, who allegedly admitted that he, "intentionally and knowingly searched, downloaded, viewed and possessed" files containing child pornography.

He was arrested and faces 20 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and 20 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
