LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Someone stole a car, then hit an activity bus at a JCPS school Thursday afternoon, according to a spokeswoman for JCPS.

Allison Martin, spokeswoman for Jefferson County Public Schools, says it happened around 2 p.m. at Minor Daniels Academy, near the corner of Bashford Manor Lane and Newburg Road.

Martin says someone stole a school employee's car, and as they were trying to get away, they hit the activity bus, which was parked in the school's parking lot. The suspect then ran away.

As of 3 p.m., no arrests had been made, but JCPS and Louisville Metro Police were investigating.
