LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDRB) -- Family and friends say goodbye to an Olympic athlete's daughter, who was shot and killed.

Hundreds of people gathered for 15-year-old Trinity Gay's funeral Saturday.

Police say she was killed last Sunday after being caught in the crossfire of a shootout outside a Lexington restaurant.

She's the daughter of Olympic sprinter, Tyson Gay.

Gay says his daughter's passing has been hard on their family, but they're thankful for the outpouring of support they've gotten.

"It's been a tough week but I've had so much support from her friends, family and it's made it a lot better. All the support from the community and the nation as a whole," Gay said.

4 people have been arrested in connection to Gay's death.

All are charged with Wanton Endangerment.
