LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was killed Saturday night when his house caught fire.

Assistant Chief Kenny Amback with the McMahan Fire Department says firefighters were called out around 10 p.m. to a home in the 4200 block of Graf Drive near Six Mile Lane.

Amback says the fire was contained to one room.

Deputy Coroner Jim Wesley with the Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 74-year-old Gordon Coombs. Wesley says Coombs died of smoke inhalation and thermal injuries.
