LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Jeffersonville Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a man wanted in connection with the robbery of a Dollar General store.

According to a news release, the Dollar General at 5414 State Road 62 in Jeffersonville was robbed on the night of Oct. 17.

Police say that three female employees told them that an unidentified male forced them into the back of the store at gunpoint while they were trying to leave after closing the store. According to the news release, the man held the three employees inside the store against their will for about 30 minutes before ordering them into a room and leaving the scene.

Police say he got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise.

The Jeffersonville Police Department says it has identified 17-year-old Isaac Lukes as the suspect. A warrant has been issued for his arrest on charges of Armed Robbery and Criminal Confinement.

"The Jeffersonville Police Department has been in contact with Lukes' family in an attempt to locate Lukes and communicate the importance for Lukes to turn himself in," the news release states.
