U of L runner carries opponent across finish line at ACC Championship

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- In what was the biggest race of the year to date, a University of Louisville cross country runner put aside her own ambition to help a fallen competitor.

Boston College runner Madeline Adams fell in the final stretch of this week's race. But as Louisville's Rachel Pease and Clemson's Evie Tate were about to pass Adams, they stopped and walked with her the rest of the way.
