NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) -- The New Albany Aldi store is sporting a new look for shoppers.
The newly expanded Aldi made its big reveal this morning. It features 25 percent more space, an expanded produce section, and healthy products handpicked by leading nutrition experts.
Store officials say New Albany won't be the only Aldi in Kentuckiana getting an upgrade.
"We're looking to go through it and refresh our entire Louisville market, which is something we're very proud to be able to invest in -- the market, the customers in the entire Metro area have been great for us and we're very excited to give back and we're really excited about it," said David Winck, Aldi's director of store operations.
The first 100 shoppers this morning were given a "Golden Ticket" containing Aldi gift cards.
