Documents indicate Indiana Congressional candidate required to live in five states simultaneously
Trey Hollingsworth's campaign claims the filings are a clerical error, and says they will be fixed.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Newly released documents show that an Indiana congressional candidate is obligated to live in five different states.
Republican Trey Hollingsworth is running for the 9th Congressional District seat in Indiana.
Public records show Hollingsworth is simultaneously required to live in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Ohio, so legal papers related to his company can be served.
In two of the states, it's a misdemeanor to file a false document.
"It is clear Trey Hollingsworth is willing to do anything to get elected," said Shelli Yoder, (D) Indiana 9th District Congressional Candidate "Now we know he's committing a crime."
Hollingsworth's campaign claims the filings are a clerical error, and says they will be fixed.
