LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- La Grange Police say they've arrested a man after he burglarized a woman's apartment and began making unwanted sexual advances toward her.
According to a news release, the incident took place Friday, just after 4 a.m., at an apartment complex in the 500 block of Russell Avenue, near Hwy. 146, in La Grange, Kentucky.
Police say 32-year-old Danny Morganette opened a woman's apartment door and looked inside. Despite the victim's demands that he leave, police say Morganette walked in, then began making sexual advances toward the woman, who continuously fought him off.
Morganette was drunk, according to the news release, and eventually collapsed on the woman's couch, giving her a chance to call 911.
He was still asleep on the couch when officers arrived.
Police say he was arrested and charged with second degree burglary, resisting arrest and third degree sexual abuse. He is currently being held in the Oldham County Detention Center.
