Judge suspends driver's license of woman accused in Lexington DUI crash that killed 2 people

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The woman charged with driving drunk and killing two people -- including an LMPD detective -- no longer has a driver's license.

Suzanne Whitlow was not in court Friday in Lexington, but her attorneys were. She's still in the hospital.

A judge suspended her license and set a preliminary hearing for next month. The judge also changed her DUI charge to DUI -- second offense.

She was convicted on a DUI charge back in 2014.

Lexington Police say Whitlow hit and killed LMPD Detective Jason Schweitzer and UK employee Timothy Moore Saturday morning. She allegedly admitted to police she had consumed several drinks before the crash.
