LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's meant to celebrate women with disabilities.

The 20th annual Ms. Wheelchair Kentucky pageant is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Jefferson Community and Technical College.

The goal of the pageant is to celebrate the achievements of all women, despite their disabilities.

Contestant Beth Bryant wants to use the platform to help educate people across the state. "I'm an adult with spina bifida, so I will also go through the state of Kentucky and talk about spina bifida and advocate for people that maybe don't know how to get things started in their community," Bryant said.

The pageant begins at 3:30 p.m. in the Atrium of the Chestnut building.
