LG&E introducing 'Solar Share' for all customers
There's a green way for you to save money on your LG&E bill.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There's a green way for you to save money on your LG&E bill.
You can soon enroll for the Solar Share Program. It's ideal for customers who want to support local solar, but are unable to install it on their own property -- or want to avoid the cost and maintenance of doing so.
LG&E and KU will build and operate the Solar Share Facility in Shelby County that will generate energy to power our community.
Participants will receive credit on their monthly bill for the amount of solar energy produced based on their subscription.
