Clarksville police report numerous car break-ins along Veterans Parkway

CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WDRB) -- Clarksville Police are searching for suspects after items were taken from several vehicles parked at businesses on a busy thoroughfare over the weekend.

Clarksville Police Chief Mark Palmer says there were at least seven vehicles were broken into Saturday night in several restaurant parking lots along Veterans Parkway.

He said they all happened between 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. during the dinner rush. Officials believe cars left with purses, backpacks or laptops visible were targeted.

Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to call Clarksville Police.
