LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A truck driver is in jail after a nearly 70-mile chase on I-65.

Kentucky State Police say Hussein Ali drove off from a random inspection on I-65 on Monday afternoon in Warren County.

Troopers tried different ways to get him to stop, but he just kept on going. With seven patrol cars following him, Ali decided to call it quits about a mile north of the Sonora exit in Hardin County.

Troopers say they don't know why Ali ran from them. They didn't find any drugs in his cab, just a gun he didn't have a permit for.
