Louisville comes in at No. 6 in second College Football Playoff rankings

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The College Football Playoff Selection Committee unveiled their second rankings Tuesday in a special show on ESPN where the Louisville Cardinals came in at No. 6

The 8-1 Cards debuted at No. 7 last week, two spots below the ranking they held in the Associated Press and Coaches Polls.

The Cards are currently ranked No. 5 in the AP poll and No. 6 in the Coaches Poll.

The committee will unveil new rankings every Tuesday until the final playoff teams are chosen at noon on Dec. 4.

Here is the Top 25 from Tuesday night's show: 

1. Alabama

2. Clemson 

3. Michigan

4. Washington 

5. Ohio State

6. Louisville 

7. Wisconsin

8. Texas A&M

9. Auburn

10. Penn State

11. Oklahoma

12. Colorado

13. Oklahoma State

14. Virginia Tech

15. Utah

16. West Virginia 

17. North Carolina 

18. Florida State

19. Nebraska

20. Southern California 

21. Western Michigan 

22. Boise State

23. Washington State

24. Louisiana State 

25. Arkansas

The Cardinals are back on the field Saturday at home for a game against Wake Forest at 7 p.m.
