LMPD says bank robbery suspect claims to have no memory of crime

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a bank robbery suspect who claims to have no memory of the alleged crime.

Ramey Quinn, III, 60, was arrested on Friday.

According to police records, Quinn entered the Stock Yards Bank, located at 1040 East Main Street, on Nov. 10. Officials say he, "presented a demand note, which threatened the teller."

Investigators say after he was given cash, he ran away.

Police say he was captured the following day wearing some of the same clothing. Police say Quinn admitted he was in the bank, but said he did not remember the robbery.

Quinn is charged with robbery. He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $10,000 cash bond.

He's scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 22.
