LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is facing federal charges related to child pornography.

Adrian Grisanti, 44, was arrested Monday morning, according to a news release from the Department of Justice.

Authorities say Grisanti is charged with "knowing receipt of child pornography, possession with intent to view child pornography, possession of a computer containing child pornography and destruction of evidence in a federal investigation."

The federal indictment states that in February of 2015, "the FBI took over a website that contained a network of users who posted and accessed child pornography via hidden network services not readily available to the internet community."

Officials say Grisanti used the website to receive and access files that contained child pornography.

Federal authorities say if convicted, Grisanti could receive a sentence between 5 and 20 years on the knowing receipt of child pornography charge. Officials also say he could get up to 10 years for each count of accessing with intent to view child pornography.

If convicted, Grisanti could receive up to 20 years for possession of child pornography. He could also receive up to 20 years for destruction of evidence.
