LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The No. 5-ranked University of Louisville football team will play host to state rival Kentucky at noon on Saturday, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced.

The game will be televised by ESPN.

Louisville has won five straight games in the series, including a 38-24 victory last season in Lexington after Kentucky had grabbed a 21-0 lead. A year earlier, backup QB Kyle Bolin led a comeback after Kentucky had jumped to a 13-0 advantage.

Kentucky comes into the game with a 6-5 record after beating Austin Peay 49-13. Louisville (8-2) is coming off only its second loss of the season, 36-10, at Houston, a setback which dropped the Cardinals from College Football Playoff contention.

U of L is led by Lamar Jackson, who is in position to become the school's first Heisman Trophy winner.
