LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A doctor who treated former U.S.A. Olympic gymnasts, including a Louisville woman, is now facing sex abuse charges.

Dr. Larry Nassar is charged with three counts of sex abuse. One of those charges allegedly involves a child.

The Indy Star reports that at least 36 people have come forward to accuse Nassar of sexual abuse.

Rachael Denhollander, of Louisville, says he abused her in 2000 when she was 15 years old.

Nassar left his position with U.S.A. Gymnastics last fall.

He was fired from his teaching job at Michigan State University in September.
