LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two Louisville men have been arrested after a police chase through several Kentucky counties.

Kentucky State Police and Bowling Green Police say they received a tip about a possible stolen Chevrolet Tahoe traveling on the William Natcher Parkway. Bowling Green Police lost sight of the SUV after it merged onto I-65 North, according to a news release. A KSP trooper later located the SUV on I-65 near Smith's Grove.

That's when, according to KSP, the driver of the SUV accelerated and starting weaving in and out of traffic. Kentucky State Police pursued the SUV for more than 50 miles. Troopers deployed stop sticks near Elizabethtown to get the SUV to slow down. Troopers then used an intervention maneuver to force the SUV off the roadway, according to a KSP spokesman.

After a short foot chase both 24-year-old Lamontrez Jackson and 19-year-old David Williamson were arrested. Williamson was the driver of the SUV, according to KSP.

Jackson was arrested in connection to the September murder of 19-year-old Mariah Wilson. Jackson is expected to be arraigned in Louisville Wednesday morning on charges of complicity to murder, complicity to robbery and being a persistent felony offender. Anothy Harris has been charged with murder in Wilson's death.

Williamson remains in the Hardin County Detention Center on long list of charges including fleeing and evading police.
