LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a woman after she stole roughly $2,800 worth of lottery tickets from Kroger.

According to an arrest report, 58-year-old Robin Robbins stole the tickets from the Kroger at 2710 W. Broadway over the course of two months. Police say her actions were ultimately captured on surveillance video.

When questioned about the crime, Robbins allegedly told officers she did it to support a gambling addiction.

Robbins was arrested Tuesday evening and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
